Every Child Deserves Therapy That Looks at the Bigger Picture
Hawkesbury Speech Pathology Practice was founded in 2025 with a vision of providing holistic, evidence-based care that supports the whole child. We are committed to helping children build confidence, communication and strong developmental foundations in a nurturing and family-centred environment.
Our Approach
-
We believe in addressing the root cause- not just managing the symptoms. By identifying and treating myofunctional and speech-related concerns early, we can prevent long-term difficulties in speech development, facial growth, dental alignment, airway health, and feeding patterns.
-
A speech pathologist is just one part of a wider team that can support your child. We strive to work with a network of health professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, ENT’s and specialist doctors.
-
You know your child best. We will collaborate with you and your child to set meaningful goals that matter to your family. This way, the skills we work on will have a real impact on your child's daily life and relationships.
-
Sessions are tailored to every child’s needs, with sensory support and the emotional wellbeing of the child at the forefront of their care.
-
We respect, value and celebrate the unique strengths and communication style of children of all neurotypes and believe neurodivergence is not a condition to be ‘fixed’.
Our Values
Integrity
We act with honesty, transparency and fairness and understand that open communication is the basis of building trusting therapeutic relationships. We work with you to support you making informed choices about your child’s care.
Authenticity
We genuinely care for all clients and are invested in their success. We strive to communicate with families in a clear, open and transparent manner to foster an environment of safety and security.
Respect
We celebrate and value children from all backgrounds and treat others with respect, sensitivity and kindness. We believe that access to communication support should not discriminate.
